what would be the best way to move from austin, texas to longmont, colorado?

like wheres the best place to find an apartment complex around there? and whats the best way to find a job there online?

I live in Longmont, so hopefully I can help. Check out www.longmontfyi.com and it will link you to the local newspaper to find ads for jobs and places to live. You can also go to Monster.com and there is a section on Boulder. Longmont jobs are listed under that city. Feel free to email me if you need some more help!

First off plan your trip if you are driving go to mapquest.com or a similar website to figure out your route.

For an apartment try forrent.com you will find tons of apartments.

For a job try colorado.gov go to the "Working" Tab and you will find links to find a job. You should also checkout the "Living here" Tab.

Just moved to Denver, Colorado from California.
Don't do it. moved last year from denver to houston. Austin is much nicer than longmont. but if you must, find the job first then have the new company cover some if not all of your moving expenses. Take sweaters, it's still cool there in the evenings.
My dad just moved to Longmont. It's a nice city. I much prefer it to Denver. Denver is much too big for me. www.forrent.com is a good site for apartments, as well as just googling apartments in Longmont. The newspaper sites - Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post - have classified ads for jobs, as well as apartments.

Jobs visit craigslist, www.jobing.com, denverpost, or americas job bank.

If you have a job when you move and the company wont pay for relocation costs, save all your receipts because you can deduct them on your taxes.
