Moving to Colorado, but where?

Travel Info
My wife and I are trying to escape So.Cal. and are very interested in moving to Colorado. After talking with lots of people, it seems Ft.Collins,Longmont and Colorado Springs seem to be popular suggestions. We love the outdoors. We are both in the healthcare field and would like to have a hospital less than a 30-40min. drive. Boulder seemed a little pricey for homes but the other cities seemed to have a good selection of affordable housing. Thanks for any suggestions.

Travel Tips

I don't know much about Colorado. My guess is to live in urbanized city which is Denver. There are many hospitals all around and driving to any hospital is less than 10 minutes. I can't think much more so I hope you like my pick.
I like Ft. Collins, the home of New Belgium Brewery and Colorado State University. And it's only about 60 miles from Ft. Collins to Denver.
Aurora. It's a nice place to live. Second largest city in CO around 300,000. Its nice a spread out. Has diff types of areas for everyone. Will have a new hospital, i think by the end of '07. University of Colorado's medical dept is moving here (That such mean something). Colorado all-around is a great state for outdoors, so where ever you move you wont be to far from anything. Aurora has miles and miles of walking/biking trails. Aurora is centrally located is everything from the Airport(DIA) to Downtown Denver. If moving to CO. Choose Aurora. Like any med. to big city crime is there and Aurora has some. but like I said there are lots of areas in Aurora. I would look over by SouthEast Part.
Longmont is a good choice. Job market is good and housing prices are much lower than in Boulder. Longmont has a farily large hospital and an annex hospital on the south end of town. It's also a very short drive to Boulder and Lafayette who both have large hospitals too.
try this. It's from Grand Junction. It hasa couple of hospitals, outdoor activities available, & some decent places to eat.
