Travel Info Where is a romantic and fun getaway near Denver, CO for my 1 year anniversary? Travel Tips My husband and I were married in the most beautiful B&B in Estes Park called Romantic Riversong. We have been going back for our anniversary weekend every year since. It's an excellent place to celebrate a special getaway, designed for couples with beautifully decorated rooms on a very scenic property. Estes Park is the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, one of the most awesome parks in the country (if not the world!) It's only a 90-minute drive and is gorgeous any time of the year. There won't snow if it's during summer, but the feel and mood of the cities are fun during summer. Estes Park is only about an hour away and it's a very cute little town. There are a lot of nice cabins w/ in room hot tubs etc, right on the river, so elk, etc come right up to your windows. Glenwood Springs Aspen, Glenwoods Springs, Vail, Telluride, and Colorado Springs. |
