The San Luis Valley is cold in the winter, and warm in the summer surrounded by wonderful 14ers... Denver has shopping, cafes's...theatre. Boulder is amazing, the whole state has excellent skiing with in a 3 hour drive really at the longest drive. it's got great people, it's expensive to buy property but it's worth it. I grew up there. whatch your back in denver. i had a knife shoved into my stomach for five dollars right inside the bus station. Denver just just made it legal to have under and oz. of pot on you but if you get caught by a state trooper your screwed, only city wide. other than that traffics sucks, and people everywhere. great mountains and camping areas Colorado is beautiful and by-and-large so are the people. I have lived in Metro Denver since 1983. Love it. There is something for everyone and all taste. Can you be a bit more specific in what part of Colorado you are considering,? Denver is totally sports minded. It is also very cross-cultural. As in any city, there are community neighborhoods, some not too inviting after hours, others totally upscale. Always look to the west a view the beautiful, majestic Rocky mountains. Welcome to beautiful Colorado. |
