Is Denver or the suburbs a good place to live?

Travel Info
I am considering moving back to the Denver area, but I haven't lived there in about 7 years. I am a part time student and I work full time. Suggestions, comments etc..would be nice. Thank you.

Travel Tips
I like Englewood and Aurora... I plan on moving back.
If you liked it 7 years ago, you'll more than likely still like it today.

I am not a fan of Denver, but I live in Boulder and love it. I need to be close to nature, which Boulder has. Denver is ok to visit but I would not want to live there. But I love Colorado.

If you are single and 20- or 30-something, I would definitely recommend living in the city. The city has gone through a tremendous renaissance in the past 10 years and there are many great neighborhoods to live. Lots of young professionals, lively social scene, great new restaurants, etc... It's probably a bit pricier than before but it still is cheap compared to any of the cities on the East or West coast.

I think you will be impressed with the changes since you left. Welcome back!
