Where is a great place to eat in denver? |
Travel Info I will be in denver this weekend any great places to eat that are different? not box or chain places thanks Travel Tips I agree, Vesta is a very neat place. A little pricey, but worth it. Here's a link: http://www.vestagrill.com/ Another cool place is the Rodizio Grill. It's a Brazilian Steakhouse and everything is served from a rotisserie. Their seafood is phenomenal but I highly recommend their breakfast buffet on Sundays. I can't seem to find their homepage, but here's an overview. http://denver.diningguide.com/data/d1003... Hope this helps! I'll be thinking of more for you too! Others there is an all you can eat italian buffet. It sounds wierd, they should charge $50 but the price was only $12. It is call Cinzetti's....go north on I-35 to the 104th exit. go west over I-35 and turn right into the big shopping plaza. (can't miss it) it is in the far right hand corner behind a lowes (I think). I am from Louisiana and was working in commerce city, a suburb of denver, and I went every Sat night. P.S. Enjoy the calamari for me.... e-mail me and tell me what you thought of it. Denver has a ton of great restaurants, but it's hard to recommend something "different" if I don't know what's "usual" for you! Here are my favorites (no chains!) Steakhouse are great and numerous: Denver Chop House, Sullivan's, Elway's and the Capital Grille are excellent. Mexican restaurants are all over, but the best family style are Las Delicias, Tosh's Hacienda and Las Margaritas. A great and affordable French restaurant is Le Central. A very unusual and well reviewed Japanese country-style restaurant is Domo. Two hip places in LoDo I like are the Vesta Dipping Grill and Jax Fish House. The local "underground" newspaper, Westword, has an annual section of the "Best of Denver." Check out this year's issue to find what they deem the best. Have a great meal or two here! http://www.westword.com/bestof/... If you like Mexican food try Casa Bonita. The food is ok, but the entertainment is so much fun. The restaurant has a waterfall built inside with a man made cliff that a diver jumps off for show every few minutes, there is museum inside and a place for kids to watch a puppet show, a cartoonist, live music. There's more but I can't remember it all. This place is definately different. There is a place called Rodizio's which is a Brazilian buffet. It is pricey, but well worth it. I went when I was little and still tell people about the place today, best restaurant experience I have ever had. |
