Travel Info Where is a good place in Colorado to do white water rafting? Travel Tips You're going to want to do the Arkansas around Canon City. It's not far from the Springs. I'd suggest Raft Masters. They are a great company. They work with the Pueblo Paddlers and offer free raft rides at our kayak park festivals during the spring. Others I suppose a river would be your best bet. Shopping malls suck for white water rafting. Damn. I don't know about whitewater rafting with a huge raft and rapids, but Golden, CO has a really cool kayak course. It is neat-a special river made for kayakers to practice on. I guess there are rapids... Buena Vista Colorado, Just drive there and you will find a lot of rafting tours. Also in Canon City there are a few companies, they will take under the world famous Royal George Bridge. |
