Cheapest way to Denver? |
Travel Info What is the cheapest and easiest way to get into denver from the denver international airport. Is there a cheap shuttle or something? Thanks. Travel Tips Like Ray said, the RTD bus is your best bet. Denver has an extensive bus system and one of the most complete airport transportation systems I've seen anywhere else. You can get from the airport to almost anywhere in the metro area using the RTD SkyRide system. You can even go all the way to Boulder for only $10. If you're looking to get to downtown, catch the AF. The AF also continues on to the west (Lakewood). The AB goes to the northwest metro area and ultimately Boulder; the AA goes to the north metro area, and the AT goes to the southern metro area. For more complete information, click the links below. Depending on how far you go, it may cost as little as $6 or as much as $10, but any way you look at it it's the most cost effective way to get anywhere in Denver from the airport. Oh yeah, and it's safe too -- all the park n rides I've been to so far (Wagon Road, Market Street Station, and all of the Boulder stops and in between) have been well-lit and in good neighborhoods. Market Street Station is downtown, and as with any big city downtown has its problems, but it's in the nice part of downtown and is very well lit and has security guards on duty. Hope this helps. RTD bus They have some van type shuttles like most airports. The cost depends on where in Denver you're going but you should easily be able to find one on the Internet. Other than that a bus or taxi is probably your only option. |
