red rocks amphitheatre (especially if you can see a concert there. but even if that doesnt work out it is still cool to see), 16th street mall (good shopping at the pavillions), six flags elitches or water world if you like amusement parks. Childrens museum or zoo if you have kids. or the regular history and science museum (there is an imax), walk around Boulder and the Pearl street mall. or any of the ski towns are fun like aspen, breckenridge or vail.

Gates Planitarium or The Zoo.
You need to travel outside of Denver. Go west toward Lake Dillon and Breckenridge.
Any road leading out of Denver... seriously. My personal favorite is I-70east... fewer twists and turns so I don't have to slow down for nothin!
