Travel Info
through big moutain pass and five dollars per was a multi-state bargain and practically sure. Then it got even better. Name the next stop west on the other side of the mountains.

I have been doing so much research but I can't seem to find anything on it. maybe someone that lives in the west might know more about it. please help

Travel Tips
My best guess would be that the "five dollars" is figurative and means something like US Hwy 50. If that's the case, then the first big city just west of the Colorado mountains is Montrose.
Of course, US 50 goes on through Utah and Nevada and to Reno. It then goes into California, ending in Sacramento. So, the "multi-state bargain" might mean one of the other states. There are several mountain ranges and passes along that route.

Of course, it also goes East from Colorado as well. Are you sure it means Colorado?

Others
Grand Junction maybe?
Interstate Highway 70 has no stop signs, so you really don't need to stop anywhere. Some cities west of Denver include Vail, Eagle, Glenwood Springs, Grand Junction, Salt Lake City, and San Francisco. Be sure to stop in No Name, Colorado.
