My anniversary is coming up, and my husband and I both really like Grandby. However, we want a luxury hotel, not some cabin. Does anyone know of any?

Granby is a pretty ordinary town, not a big tourist attraction. Inexpensive motels, no luxury hotels. Your best bet for a hotel would be Winter Park, maybe 20 miles south of Granby. There are some there, although many fancy accomodations in Winter Park are condos, rather than a classic hotel. The Claddagh Bed and Breakfast and the Zephyr Mountain Lodge (condos, but in a resort with restaurants, etc.) deserve consideration for a fancy anniversary.
The fanciest accomodations near Granby are guest ranches, C Lazy U Guest Ranch, Drowsy Water Ranch and King Mountain Ranch. These are not just cabins (although some accomodations are in cabins), they are fancy guest ranches with good accomodatons, facilities, and food. No doubt they have websites you can check out. |
