Why are people in Colorado, particularly Denver, so psychotic and weird??? |
Travel Info I mean why did the most violent school shooting in history occur in the Denver area? Travel Tips you can't blame what happened in colombine on the whole state people in colorado are just as horrifed about school bombings as you are. It was just the luck of the draw that it happened in Colorado. Others It could have happened anywhere. It's unfortunate it happened at all. In all seriousness, it does seem that the crazies congregate area by area in cycles. For a time it seemed they were all in Texas, then all in California, now all in Colorado. I realize it may be coincidental and that one's awareness of where something happens may simply be heightened by having heard of some other incident in that area in the recent past. I also do not mean to offend anyone in any of the aforementioned areas. After all, my state could be next. Interesting topic. Maybe it's the altitude. Over the years, many people have moved to the Rocky Mountain region in pursuit of the elusive "good life." Some folks become disillusioned and fall into mental illness. The vast majority of Coloradans are happy and well adjusted, but we certainly have our share of real "nut jobs."
