I am going to Denver, but I am traveling alone, is there some fun and relaxing stuff that I can do? |
Travel Info traveling alone, love the mountains, flying into Denver, but would like to maybe go on a skiing trip while I am up there, any cheap charters that I can take up there, or would it be better to rent a car and try driving up to a ski resorts, or are their any cheap casino charter buses that can take you up there for a cheaper price? Travel Tips Take the Rio Grande Ski Train to Winter Park for a day of skiing. It's a safe and beautiful way to travel and you can meet many interesting folks on train. There are also numerous bus trips available to ski areas, casinos, and local attractions. Bus deals to casinos are cheap and accessable, about $5 that they usually give you back in a gaming coupon. Also check out downtown. Lots to see & do. Telluride- Quiet and relaxing, a great place for skiing. Really scenic, but dont fly right into Telluride, it is the most delayed city in the country. Try flying in to Montrose. Breckenridge- Excellent place for skiing. A very quiet town, not a lot of people that live there. You can fly right into there, the prices are cheap. Durango- Close to Telluride. Many places to choose to ski at and is quiet and many things to see/ do there. Dont fly right into there thought, try flyiing to Alberquequre. Steamboat Springs- Very Beautiful!!! Many places to do and see there. Many nature trails abut they probaly wont be to much fun in the winter. Alot of places to stay and relax at. You can fly into Hayden, and the airport is only about 20 minuetes away from the city Try going to some of theses places, they are very quiet and relaxing. |
