Other Travel Tips www.weather.com www.weather.com Actually it's west of Colorado Springs ..about 1 1/2 hours away. This is not like Southern California ... there are times in the winter when there is SNOW a few times during the winter ... you will need to get used to driving in it or stay home when it snows. It's not very bad .. it's a good idea to get snow tires with studs for winter driving ... Usually when it snows it will melt within a few days and then it will be cold but nice weather.... I's pretty brisk in the winter ... kind of like Big Bear or Lake Arrowhead area in the winter... right now, if it's anywhere in colorado, cold. in the summer, hot. all year, dry. very dry. today.... snow. what are you going to do way up there? you'll have to commute real far to work anywhere. canon city - colorado springs |
