Neighborhood suggestions in Denver? |
Travel Info I am moving to Colorado. I would like to rent a house in a neighborhood close to Denver. I have never been there so any help would be great. Travel Tips Denver does not suck. Depending on money I seem to remember that there are some great neighborhoods. Cherry Creek or Bonnie Brae neighborhoods are beautiful but expensive. Whatever you do, STAY AWAY FROM AURORA!!!!!!!! I repeat STAY AWAY FROM AURORA!!!!!!!!! Others Water is in very short supply in Denver so get a house by a river. Don't do it ... Denver sucks ! I have freinds who live south of Denver and then east a short ways on the toll road. Many new houses going in down there. It is a nice area. Sorry, I don't remember the numbers of the roads. i could help but i would need to know your price range and if you want somewhere very kid friendly or more for young and singles Denver really doesn't have any bad neighborhoods. I've lived in several neighborhoods in the city and many of the suburbs, and I find them all pleasant. I do suggest that you find a neighborhood close to work if you hate to commute as much as I do. I currently live in one of the northwest suburbs and work in downtown Denver. An express bus zips me from my home to work in half an hour. Denver at http://www.denvergov.org/ |
