Travel Info We are renting a motor home, in USA, west side.all ideas please, places to go? Travel Tips I have been to Texas, Arizona, California, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Mexico, all the Southwestern states. Definitely don't miss Arizona and the Grand Canyon. The weather is hot, hot, hot, but it really is pleasant because there is zero humidity. Pictures DO NOT do the Grand Canyon justice. It is truly awesome in real life. And if you are into jewelry, most of the western states have reservations and the silver and turquoise jewelry made by the Navajo Indians, everything they make is just beautiful, very reasonable in price,too. My husband got the chance to work on a ranch in Wyoming years ago and he always wanted to take me there because I had never been to the Northwestern states. Unfortunately we never got to go but he had traveled a lot in his earlier, wilder days and he told me that Wyoming was the most beautiful state in the country. My Mother swore by Colorado. It's a state where in the lower half people are sunbathing at the swimming pool and people in the northern part of the state are snow skiing during certain parts of the year. If you split the difference, say go from Texas up thru Wyoming and Colorado (don't miss Arizona and New Mexico) I personally think you will have seen some of the prettiest places in that part of the US of A! Others I envy you............. Vegas, Oregan, southern Cali....... the countrys your oyster with one of those! great place, just make sure you run over as many of the brainwashed natives as you can while you are there! did they invade anywhere this week?
