USA visa Waiver program - Help?

In 2002 - I crossed the border from canada to USA. My visa had run out in canada.
Border control refused me admittance. So i went back to canada ovbviously lol... had no where else to go. got an extention on my Canadian visa .
I did not fill in a visa waiver form - dont think u need them in canada.

I am British.

Im planning to go to the states in the next few days.. Do u think i will encounter any problems with VWP..

You didn't say why you were turned away. If they marked your passport as refused entry you will need to apply for a full visa. If you try without one and they catch you, then you will spend a night in prison before being deported. Acting dumb will not save you.

If your passport was unmarked and the incident was not recorded and you have a return ticket from recognized carrier, then you may enter on a vw.

Others
so long as you have a set date that you are going back to canada or leaving the USA they should let you in. like you are visiting a friend or something. but you need to prove it. like a plain ticket, or bus ride out of there.

but if you really wanna stay over there you need to apply for a visa of some kind. my brother applied for a waiver, but he is married to an american, and he still hasnt got his green card yet (2yrs later)

Its very hard to do. do some research on the web aqnd see what you can find out is all i can really say.

Use your British Passport.
All your information is now colloected electronically before you broad the aircraft if you are going to be refused entry you will not be allowed to board the aircraft because the airline bring you will be fined and have to rertun you on the next flight
