When I was working the drill rigs (until August this year in Wyoming) they were making anywhere from 22-30 dollars an hour. 12 hour shifts and you usually work 7 on 7 off, or 14 on 14 off, or 14 on 7 off. So for 7 days you will get 40 hours regular time 44 hours overtime. They will also give you per diem. If you are working in oil based mud this can be up to $100 a day. Try Nabors if you want a job.
