Is denver, CO an expensive place to live? |
Travel Info Is denver, CO an expensive place to live? Travel Tips Denver is pretty comparable in cost with other US cities of its size. You can compare the cost of living in and around Denver with your present home at the website below. Source(s): Cost of Living Calculator at http://www.homefair.com/calc/salcalc.htm... Other Travel Tips well relitively expencive but it all depends on if you want to live in upper or lower denver. here is a link that shows you the current pricing of a 2 bedroom 1 bath homes that are listed. http://realtor.com/findhome/homelistings... No. There are plenty of suburbs around Denver that are relatively cheap to live in. You want to avoid Boulder and Downtown if you want cheap housing. Try Lakewood, Arvada or Aurora for places to stay. If you want ticky tacky housing, try Broomfield or Highlands Ranch, they are like Daly City in the SFBA. Living in the foothills ( mountains to everyone else ) gets expensive, but is worth it. I lived in Evergreen. If you really want cheap and don't mind the drive, there is always South Park! what are you comparing it to? way cheaper than back east or california... It also depends on which part of the city you want to live in. They had a lot of foreclosures on houses so my bet is that you'll be able to find a nice house for cheap... as for grocerieis and gas and all of that... i'm thinking we aren't that bad. on the other hand. i know for my profession as well as justins coloado pays like crap... |
