Colorado? How is it? |
Travel Info Has anyone ever been or lived in calorado? How is it? I want to go to college their. Travel Tips Traffic is heavy and the cost of a place to live is horrendous. Plan on living in a college dorm. On the plus side, they have good buses and there's lots to do and the mountains are beautiful. Communities that are better for traffic/living conditions are Fort Collins and Boulder. Easier to get around in, too. Denver's main asset is there is plenty to do. Others it is so cool there and gets cold in the winter but it is ver awesome, unless it is denver because denver is ugly but in the mountasins those are awesome looking Colorado is a beautiful place. We have several good colleges here with the best being University of Colorado at Boulder. Boulder is a beautiful little city in the foothills of the Rockies. Colorado State University, the other major college is about 80 miles north of Denver in a very nice small town called Ft. Collins. Ft. Collins has been chosen as one of America's top cities to move to. We have sunshine approx 300 days of the year. Even when it snows, it is usually gone in a couple of days. Being a mile high gets that sun working on the snow even if its below freezing. I've lived here since 1970 and wouldn't want to live anywhere else, except for maybe Cabo San Lucas. LOL |
