Anyone live in Westminster, CO?

My wife and I are new to the area and looking for a decent bar to go to for a drink when she gets off work tonight. We don't really know anyone and just looking for a nice drink and some light fun Any suggestions?

Not a lot of bars in Westminster. There's one off of 120th between Federal and Sheridan called Roosters but I here it's kind of trashy. There's also the Fox and the Hound which is also on 120th between Federal and Sheridan (more towards sheridan in a strip mall) which has pool and that sort of thing. A biger bar and adult Arcade would be Dave and Busters located in the Westminster Promenade off of 104th and US-36. Other then that I'd say go to Denver or Boulder. Other Travel Tips
Hrm. Bar in Westminster. Westminster isn't really a drinking town, but there's a couple I can think of. One is near Church Ranch and Wadsworth -- inside the stripmall with American Furniture Warehouse, on the south side of the stripmall near the corner. Kind of a locals bar.

As you go South on Wadsworth toward Arvada and Lakewood, you'll find there will be more drinking establishments. I think there's one or two on the west side of Wads near 88th, but don't hold me to it.

There are some chain restaurants here and there that you can go out for a beer or two at. Applebee's on Wads. Several in the Flatiron Crossing's mall area. But those are restaurant bars -- not the kind of vibe everyone goes for.

Unfortunately Westminster is mostly soccer moms and whatnot. Denver is where the bars are. And there are a few in Boulder that aren't infested with college kids. But those would involve some driving, which kind of defeats the purpose.
