What good activities are there to do with kids in Denver in February?

Travel Info
My husband and I are going on vacation in February to Denver with our 3 year old son. We would like to have some ideas for kid friendly activities before we get there. Any ideas?

Travel Tips
Art museum, Natural History Museum, and Family Nights for the Aves and Nuggets games.

There are also indoor rec centers like "family fun center" in Aurora.

Others
Hopefully you will catch a day with warm weather (it is possible!) and you can take your son to the Denver Zoo or go on a hike in Red Rocks Park. If you are looking for something more indoors then Ocean Journey is a nice aquarium to visit. There is also the Butterly Pavilion, The Children's Museum and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

Enjoy your trip!
There seem to be several activities that would be fun to attend with a three year old. Denver has a children's museum that offers storytime everyday, Toddler Time, and ARTS a la carte. You can find information at the website www.mychildsmuseum.org. Disney characters also appear at FlatIron Crossing on the first Thurs. of the month. Information can be found at KidsPagesorg. Denver also boasts an aquarium with many activities. Their website is www.Downtownaquarium.com. I also noticed that Denver's libraries offer many storytimes and activities.
A place to eat if it still exists... Casa Bonita, kids will love it.
Casa Bonita and White Fence Farm are both really good restaurants to take kids to. Casa Bonita is a Mexican themed restaurant with a strolling mexican band, 3 story high waterfall with cliff divers and skits being performed every 1/2 or so. Watch a puppet show, explore Black Bart's cave and take a turn at breaking the pinata are all tons of fun. White Fence Farm is a real working farm that has been converted to a restaurant. There are carriage rides, a petting area, ducks in the pond to feed and dinner is served family style (and the corn fritters are the greatest!!). Then bundle up if it's cold and go to the Denver Zoo, it's one of the greatest in the country and the Polar Bear habitat is awesome.
There are the usual suspects... the zoo, the museums, etc. You might enjoy a stroll up and down Denver's 16th street mall.

I think you should definitely take the time to head over to the mountains though. Maybe a short hike. Denver's a great biking town, especially if it's warm, and there are places to rent bikes and a kid carrier. A bike ride down the Platte River might be fun.
I've gotten sick everytime I've eaten at Casa Bonita.
