Is anyone else snowed in in Denver? |
Travel Info I can't believe how much snow is in my yard alone! Travel Tips i'm in vermont. we wish we had snow. send some our way Others no i live in florida and never see snow I am at the Embassy Suites on Hampden in Denver. About 28 inches here. Trying to get back to Indianapolis. Wed. flight cancelled. As of now, I will get home Christmas Day at earliest. Went out to brush off my rental car. Snow up 4 inches over my knee. Have fun and Merry Christmas. My sister lives up there and I guess yesdarday she had to leave work in Boulder a little early because it was getting so bad. It is an 11 mile drive and it took her almost 8 hours to make it home! She kept calling, sometimes yelling, sometimes in tears, once she called and could SEE her apartment complex, and it still took her another hour to get home! You guys be careful up there. Merry Christmas! I wish we got some snow here in Boston. Jeez. I'm jealous of the folks in Denver. Keep safe and good luck. It hasn't snowed once here, which is very unusual for new england. :( Hopefully we'll get a blizzard! I LOVE TO SHOVEL SNOW! same here!! my sister and a few of my friends live out there. my sister told me this morning how high the snow drifts are. she regrets not having a shovel (she lets a friend borrow one in the past and they never returned it) so she might go walking out tomorrow to the grocery store to get one. she tried walking out this morning but the snow was waist deep. |
