Stuck in Denver in Blizzard, Anyone having cabin fever?

Travel Info
Okay - so the first foot of snow was somewhat managable, but with the second foot of snow starting to come in, I don't know what to do with myself. Anyone here in Colorado facing the blizzard?

Cabin fever is also occurring in Colorado Springs! Blowing, drifting and accumulating snow!
You are doing the right thing - stay inside and warm! Do you ever loose power during snow storms? I'm imagining what it must look like there, with all the snow coming down, swirling around, white and bright.........*sigh*

Here in Georgia it's 50ish and does NOT feel like Christmas at all! Do me a favor -- snuggle deeper into your sweater and smile - you are actually experiencing winter at Christmas time! Our winter weather will arrive in late January or early February IF it arrives at all!

Merry Christmas!
I'm sitting here is MA and wondering why you are getting such awful weather and we are experiencing 40 and 50 degree temps in New England (not complaint). You have all my sympathy. I don't mind being cooped up but I do mind having to go out in the cold and plow it out. Presently, my sister is very anxious to move to CO and get out of here. My point being the grass is greener here...this week anyway.
Yes. Any my stubborn husband insisted at staying at work and now it looks like he can't get home. Grrr......
I'm not in Colorado, but have been in a few blizzards, and ice storms that keep a body in doors! I know what that cabin fever is like. Find games to play, catch up on your reading, answer questions on yahoo, do some baking, spring clean the house in time for x-mas. There are things to do to help keep you from going bonkers! When the blizzard is over, and you can go outside, Oh what fun it is to play in all that snow!
I grew up in Chicago, and was 10 when the blizzard hit in 1967.
My sister and I built igloos in the back yard, and had tunnels going from one to the other, it was warm inside of them. Then our brother came and stomped them in, we wanted to bury him in it! Ha ha. We still laugh about it! Those were the days.
Snow ball fights, sledding, building snow men, and making a few dollars going out and shoveling snow for the neighbors!
It won't last forever! So just make the most of it, make some hot cocoa, most of all stay warm!
I live in Arkansas now, we get more ice than snow here. And sometimes lose power. So, we keep candles and lanterns ready.
Right now it is light jacket weather! But that could and most likely will chang soon if you are gettin a blizzard! I'll be ready!!
Well. I'm stuck here too. We just finished shoveling driveway, because our car got stuck, couldn't make it up our incline. Luckily we are well stocked in food. Made hubby and I comfort food for lunch and plan the same for the next day and a half. Going to start a fire, wrap some presents and hopefully watch a Christmas movie.
Hey, could be worse, we could be stuck at DIA with NOTHING to do and NO PLACE to sleep. Stay warm!
