Travel Info Are you living in denver right now and going through that blizzard? Travel Tips I live 60 miles north of Denver and we got hit pretty bad. 18 to 25 inches of snow measured around town, with drifts up to 8 feet. It's pretty dang cool!!!!!!!! Others NO, luckily i dont Yes in Denver and this blows cause it's so deep I can't even push my bike to the street let alone ride it Yes, it's up past my knees. But I've known it to be a lot worse( up past my head). The panic seems worse than ever. Before the city didn't shut down, as it did this time, for this much snow. I think we're just not use to the storms we use to get. Is there anyone in Denver not suffering through this blizzard? Ha ha. Well, I hear they got I-25 open at least. Tomorrow I'll dig my car out and check it out! yes, and yes, no big deal. Got about 26" in Castle Rock 25 Mile south of Denver. March of 2003 we got 28 "Oct 1997 36". Have a warm house , plenty of food and the family is all home and safe. Will finish digging out tomorrow and finish my Christmas shopping .It's going to be 43 and sunny. MERRY CHRISTMAS and HAPPY HOLIDAYS Yes and I'm so ticked off cause my apartment complex doesn't plow. My husband and I have at least 40 feet worth of 4 foot drifts to dig through to get to our only exit out of the parking lot and we don't have any shovles. :-( I'm very frustrated with my apartment complex right now and i hope they take money off of our January rent cause we won't be able to make it if we can't get our cars out to go to work. One drift next to the Garages actually gors over my head (5'5). That's kind of funny. P.S. Sorry to complain. I'm really upset. |
