Metro Denver: Must see or must leave?

I've asked what the city of Denver is like. Now I'm curious what the metro area as a whole is like. Take the city and the suburbs as a whole and rate it for me on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the coolest). Who would do best in the suburbs and city? Conservatives or liberals? Families or young libertines? Is it cosmopolitan or a cowtown?

Metro Denver is a great place, tons of places to see! I live in the suburbs called Lakwood, close to Denver. The city is a great place to shop, eat, and to meet people. In Lakewood, there's this famous place called Belmar (a great place to live in). You shop, eat, see movies, or plays and such. Latley, we've been getting snow, so bring your gear! This is abnormal for us, and for the weather, you never know what's going to happen! Downtown, you can use the lightrail so you can save some bucks than bringing your car (it's busy downtown). You'll have a wonderful experience in Denver. Just come and see!

9............We live in Castle Rock 25min south of Denver. love it here. Work 20 min. west of Denver. We moved here from urban New Jersey. Denver is cool, my 18 year old goes there all the time.to parties.
The burbs are the burbs, like anywhere else in the country. Probably more conservative than the inner city, but not totally devoid of progressive thinking (hell, I'm here!) Definitely family-oriented, generally good schools, lots of parks and recreation opportunities, lots of cookie-cutter housing developments, but beautiful views, lots of retail, but good lifestyle... Neither cosmopolitan nor a cowtown. Just the burbs. Pretty good living if that's your thing.
DENVER IS A MUST LEAVE STATE. THE CITY OR SUBURBS LOOKS NO DIFFERENT THAN ANY OTHER CITY OR STATE PRETTY MUCH WITH NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT IT. IF U LIKE OVER CROWDING AND POLLUTION AND AN OUT OF HAND COST OF LIVING, THEN BY ALL MEANS COME ON OVER. IM A NATIVE HERE AND I WOULD LOVE TO LEAVE. THIS ISNT HOME TO ME ANYMORE. U CAN LARGELY THANK THE LACK OF IMMIGRATION LAWS FOR THAT. GOOD LUCK MAN, AND STAY HOME. DENVER IS A DUMP.
