Travel Tips There isn't major rafting around Frisco, so you have to drive a bit to get to the good stuff on the Arkansas, Colorado or Eagle Rivers or Clear Creek. There are outfits in Frisco or Breckendridge that will take you there from Summit County. The best times for rafting are in late May, June and July because the spring runoff from melting snow makes the rivers high and FAST. It is an awesome experience and hopefully your family will love it!
