Colorado ski resorts?

i'm planning for a ski trip and wondering where would be a good place within a short distance from airport? also any places to look for a good deal to stay.

i would recommend breckenridge! its BEAUTIFUL.

Depends on your budget. But Steamboat Springs is a good resort. Less pricey than Vail. But be prepared for a drive. As far as I know there are no ski areas close in. They are all located an hour or two from the airport.

Been there, done that.
Loveland is the closet ski area up I-70 however it is just a ski area so there are no hotels or any thing like that there.
Copper Mountain is my favorite close to Denver. But A Basin is the closest.
Breckenridge is the best resort but it is about a hour away fron denver
Breckenridge is my favorite resort. But any ski resort in Summit County is pretty good. Breck is located a little over an hour from Denver. They have anything from begginer to expert. Have fun!
