Where is the best place to live in Denver, CO? |
Travel Info I will be moving to the Denver, CO area, but I am unfamiliar with the city and surrounding area. What is the best place to live for a 20 something couple? One of us will be attending the University and the other will be working in the technology sector. We will be renting an apartment for at least the first six months. Also, I would like to stay more towards the south side of Denver. Travel Tips If you like south of the city I would go with Littleton, Englewood or Centennial. Close access to DTC & light rail to downtown or DU. Good Luck! Others if you are going to DU, then it would probably be best to try and get an apartment in University Hills, or Cherry Creek (kind of pricey, but close to both DU and the Tech Center). You will want to be in Lakewood, Littleton, or Highlands Ranch. Stay away from Aurora. http://www.ci.lakewood.co.us/index.cfm?&... Don't give up on this message. Good stuff at the end. Best place to live in Denver? 400 E. 8th Avenue. Nice house. You also have a great and interesting job, and are famous. http://www.colorado.gov/dpa/doit/archive... The best advice is to try to live close to work/school. Denver has East Coast type rush hour traffic. The Denver University (that the one?) area has a lot of relatively inexpensive apartments. The Tech Center (that where the job is?) is very nice and priced accordingly. For 20 somethings, I'd say DU. The University has a housing office with information: http://www.du.edu/och/ |
