Does anyone have any recommendations of places to stay in the Breckenridge, Vail ski resort area? |
Travel Info I am planning a ski trip for 6-8 to Colorado and would love any recommendations anyone has on places to stay...Breckenridge, Vail, Copper, Keystone, etc. Preferably something that is not too pricey. Thanks! Travel Tips For Breckenridge, I hear Beaver Run Resort is nice and a great ski-in/ski-out loacation. They have anything from standard hotel rooms to 3-4 bedroom suites that can accomodate 8-10 people. But that's because there's not much there except the ski village. The other places you list have a lot more to offer by way of restaurants, shops, etc. Breckenridge is a popular compromise between pricey Vail and bland Copper. www.tripadvisor.com will have lodging reviews. There's a wide range of accommodations in Breckenridge. Everything is pricey during the season, unless your willing to stay in Denver or Grand Junction and drive.
