What part of Denver or surrouning area is cool for a single 25 y/o female pothead? |
Travel Info I've been reading about all the the little suburbs. I live in Houston so I don't want to be near any "ghettos" if you know what I mean. From what I've read Boulder is way too expensive for me. What about Lakewood, Littleton, etc? Travel Tips ...suburbs are where the families are and a 25 year old pothead will not exactly fit in. Your best bet is to just try to get as close to Denver as possible. Boulder is very expensive but you can probably find a small cheap apartment nearby. Boulder sounds like your kinda place. You can get stoned just from breathing the air as you walk down Pearl Street Mall. Others QUIT smokin pot and they all will. Coming from Houston, Denver will probably be a lot less "dirty" for you. Boulder is expensive, although you can find plenty of 420-friendly roommates -- the cost of living creates that kind of market. You might consider Boulder's suburbs -- they inherit a lot of its granola culture. Maybe Longmont. Lyons is a podunk little pothead town north of Boulder -- it's a long drive from Denver though. Littleton? DEFINITELY NOT. Whitebread suburb. Lakewood is a little more your speed, but is kind of .. unimaginative. Lakewood is mostly a 60s suburb with lots of strip malls. Unlike Houston, Denver-proper is pretty small and the city services are pretty good. You might look into being right in Denver. Isn't LoDo still hip? |
