Moving to Colorado..Which is better area....up around Berthoud or down around Parker.? |
Travel Info Want property & horses. We have kids. Which area has better schools and good family atmosphere?? Travel Tips I love the Fort Collins area, it's so well kept, the university is there, good public and charter schools for K-12. Others The answer is where you feel good. Create your home,and make friends. sounds like your asking how it will be when you arrive anywhere on earth? News! Youll be ok as long as you take care of yourself first. Dig in. look up uniform crime reports and that will tell u what areas have what and how much crime I live around Berthoud and I can tell you it's beautiful. It's much more of a laid back atmosphere compared to Parker. Also the crime is almost non exsistent. Berthoud is the perfect small town atmosphere, but 20 minutes from all the shopping and entertainment you could ask for. Berthoud. People in Parker are strange and it seems like everyone in parker is in your business. It depends....Parker is closer to Denver and thereby a little more "urban" than Berthoud. Berthoud is in a rural community, although the area is growing so fast up there. You will definitely get more of the small-town feel in Berthoud. As another answered, though, it is close to shopping, restaurants etc. because it is not far from many larger towns/small cities such as Boulder, Longmont, Loveland and Ft. Collins. Parker will be more of a suburban environment. All said, you can't go wrong with either, really. I grew up in an area of Colorado much like Berthoud (our teams played their teams in sports, too) so I know and am a little partial to that area. Again, it just depends on what type of environment you want. I have a Home for Sale in Henderson CO zip is 80640 easy Access to I-76 but out from the City for nice Star gazing, close to k-6 school and new middle school in 2008 with a new High school last year. If not I am a Home Inspector so if you need one look me up. |
