Thinking about moving to Denver or Boulder - any neighborhood suggestions? |
Travel Info I am a single 26-year-old female and am considering moving to Devner or Boulder. I would like to live in a "downtown" area (walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops, etc.). Any suggestions? Thanks! Travel Tips Denver has booming new developments right in the downtown area. Two are called LoDo and Central Platte Valley. Just what you're looking for. Not cheap, not outrageously expensive. http://www.lodo.org/ http://www.denver-cityscape.com/lodocpvp... One thing is that traffic here is bad, and the Denver-Boulder commute (either way) is one of the worst. You'll want to live near where you work. Boulder has some residential stuff near downtown, but it's very expensive. Boulder in general is more expensive than Denver. Others Why do you want to move here? Is it because of the Real World? The truth is that Denver is NOTHING like what the Real World portrayed. If you're coming to boogey the night away in the clubs you're looking at the wrong city. You sound like somebody---a young, urban hipster--who would probably like a bigger city with more culture and opportunities than Denver. I love Denver, don't get me wrong, but it just doesn't sound like your kind of place. |
