Is there a bus or other public transportation between Avon, CO and Denver, CO? |
Travel Info I don't have a car and need to get to Denver and back from Avon, CO. Travel Tips Grey Hound would be your best and cheapest. Pick at the transporation center and drop off down town Denver at the Terminal. You could take a private shuttle down like Snow Bound Express but it will be pricy. You can forget the daily shuttles like Colorado mtn express- they only go to airport. hope it helps. bosco Source(s): live in avon Other Travel Tips My suggestion is look at Greyhound and Amtrak... Denver's RTD (public bus service) does not operate that far outside Denver, but there are private options. Lots of people need to get to the ski resorts from the airport, so you can usually find shuttle busses or limosines. You can certainly rent a car which most do or you can take one of the shuttle services which will take you door to door from the airport to where you are staying (if you mean the airport when you say Denver). One of those is Colorado Mountain Express at www.cmex.com or you can search for others. We don't have a train station in Avon so shuttles work the best. Will you need a car in Avon? Once you get there you have to get around, and that will depend on where you are staying. There is a local bus that runs most areas, but not all. So double check what transportation you need once you get here to see if you are better off renting. Good luck.
