Travel Tips
Southern Springs is Nice, Thats were I grew up, just dont live in Stratmoor Valley, Stratmoor Medows and Im not sure what Stratmoor Hills is like but that is the best of the 3, thats where I lived.. And I agree with the other post dont work at the Walmart on Platte, that place was crazy even when I lived there. The Citdel Mall is the best mall, Never really liked Chappel Hills Mall. There is also a nice subdivision Cheyeene Meddows, those are awesome houses. Anyway hope you find CO fun. I miss it there.

well the nice area of town is up north, there are alot of jobs up there same with the south but its more low class i guess you could say...its cheaper in the south there are 2 malls one south and one way up north so either way is good just depends on what kind of area you want to live in....south is more cheap and north is more nice....i have lived in both areas lol expecially when i was broke i had to live in the south but you know i have lived up north also! i have lived in colorado springs for 10 years...im 20 yrs old...ive worked at loaf n jug there, walmart...dont work at walmart on platte if u want to work there it is the busiest one!!! GOOD LUCK
personal experience
Yeah, Don't bother with the Springs and move to Denver.
i lived on colorado springs for 3 years now live in Pennsylvania and moving back to colorado the first of march. Depending on your money situation the further north of the springs the nice, rent will be around 800 to 900 a month at least for a house there apartment are cheaper. If you love nature as much as it sounds liek you do then you diffently need to move the manitou springs its like mountain living in the city you'll love it.
