What bus is available for me to take from Ouray, Colorado to Denver International Airport? |
Travel Info And how do I go about setting up a pick up? Travel Tips The nearest Greyhound bus station to Ouray is in Montrose which is about 40 miles North of you. http://www.greyhound.com/scripts/en/tick... http://www.greyhound.com/home.asp... Enter "Montrose, CO" as your starting point and "Denver RTD Market Sta" as your destination. Select the date and you should get an estimated arrival time. Depending on the date, it may require an overnight trip so plan accordingly. The total cost should be $70 to Denver plus $8 from Denver to DIA. The latter requires a trip on Denver RTD bus route AB which goes to the airport. You can find the schedule for the AB bus here. http://www.rtd-denver.com Just enter "AB" into the Schedule Finder. Others Greyhound probably. they probably have a terminal there where you can go to catch the bus. It is a VERY long way from Denver to Ouray. Definitely check Greyhound. You might also see if KURA has a "rides needed" broadcast. Also call the Ouray Chamber of Commerce and see what they recommend. There are other, closer airports you could fly out of - Telluride, Montrose. I would recommend that you check those out because the cost of the bus ticket might add up to the same cost as the nearer flight. TNM&O Coaches provides once a day service out of that area with a connection required in grand Junction to continue on to Denver by Greyhound. Once in Denver there is an RTD skyride bus that will take you from the Greyhound station to the airport. The stop for Ouray is only a flag stop so be prepared to provide the TNM&O bus driver with a cash deposit until reaching the Treminal in Grand Junction where you can officially complete your purchase of the fare. www.tnmo.com |
