I am planning to spend a night on May 7, 2007 in a nearby sky resort of Denver, CO (not farther than 150 mi)?

Travel Info
I know that you cannot sky then, but I just want to enjoy a nice view, place, resort, etc.
Please suggest any, I have been thinking in cities like: Avon, Vail, I do not know if there is any other (Aspen is too far away from Denver)

Travel Tips
Breckenridge would be a great place to stay because it is a real town, not just a ski resort. The prices would be low because it is after ski season, but before the summer tourists arrive. Also look at Frisco and Dillon, which are nearby and have a lot of activities. Be prepared for cold weather - it will not be very hot in May and can still snow possibly! Other Travel Tips
The closest resort is Mary Jane. If you want to go a little farther there's Keystone and Copper Mt - they are only about an hour outside of Denver.
I love the Winter Park area. Not overwhelmed with tourists. It's a great place to relax and the drive is gorgeous because you're not on I-70 too long.
