Travel Info How long do you need in Manitou Springs,we want to do the cliff dwellings,Miramont castle? Travel Tips I visited Manitou Springs, I think a day is more than enough for the Cliff Dwellings & Miramont Castle. I didn't visiting the Castle while i was there, but you can do the Cliff Dwellings probably in less than 2 hours... The Cave of the Winds, is next door (or road), you might want to go see that after you do the Cliff Dwellings. Also the Garden of the Gods (which is fairly near to Manitou Springs) is absolutely beautiful, you can just visit the visitors center for some nice photo opportunities or walk on many of their trails, its worth visiting! Also Manitou Springs if you visit their visitor office, will give you empty cups and you can walk around Manitou Springs and taste the water from the different springs, they will give you a map if you ask for one..... Others I would say a day, day and half should be good, I grew up there and then came back to visit and saw most of the stuff in the day that I was there. Def go to Cave of the Winds that is the best place ever. and if you have kids go to Santas Work Shop, it is a christmas theamed amusment park. One day you can visit cleft dwell lings, Garden of the gods. I recommend ind staying and seeing Pikes peak. Cripple creek (not for gambling) Royal Goarge from above and a train ride at the bottom from Canon city |
