Why is LOHAS from Boulder, Colorado? |
Travel Info I think now LOHAS is very popular in this world now. Some magazines say this idea is from Boulder, Colorado. I am just wondering why? Does it mean people in Boulder are living in a LOHAS way? Or the city is pretty green? Travel Tips I'd never heard of the acronym LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability), but once I leared what it is, it makes sense that it would have come out of Boulder. This city has always been in the forefront of ecological trends and is definitely a green city. It's also a city full of smart people, and remember that LOHAS is a marketing tool as well as a lifestyle choice. Selling "green" is big business and Boulder is not only green, but rich! Others prob becaus boulder is a super hippie town, lol. not knocking boulder at all, it also has alot of advanced science and industry stuff there.but there is no doubt that it is one of the hippie capitals of the us. and boulder is very beutiful. perfect postcard town, ( also good for marketing ) |
