Travel Info Is this a good vac spot? Travel Tips I live in Denver and i really enjoy it. If you're into nature (hiking, rafting, biking, etc) it's close enough to the mountains that you can go and spend some time out there without camping, and there's a lot to do in town. the buelle(sp?) theatre usually has some good shows and the 16th street mall is tons of fun. There's also a really nice hotel called the Brown Palace that has a lot of cool history to it, it's kind of expensive, but you can find reasonable rooms if you look. over all i would recomend it. if you go to denverathome.com you can look into all the upcoming events for Denver, it will sort of give you a locals' edge. Others Denver is also a good hub for the mountains,Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park, Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak ,Coors Field .Loads of stuff to do It depends on what you like to do. I wouldn't vacation here, but I live here, so you know... |
