Travel Info I will be flying into Denver and driving to Cheyenne the last of July with my family. Any ideas of what to do Travel Tips Cheyenne is a railroad town. The Union Pacific is the largest employer there. As stated before, the "Cheyenne Days Rodeo" is the biggest event of the year. Others Check with their Chamber of Commerce, and ask when Cheyenne Days are held. you could go see red rocks?head south and drive up pikes peak, garden of the gods , golden is real nice head west to breckinridge, head to rocky mountain national park estes park where the shining was written wow the ice cream van is here I have to go Cheyenne Frontier Days will be held this year from July 20-29, 2007. I've never been but I've heard it's great. http://www.cfdrodeo.com/ There are lots of good concerts to go to at Cheyenne Frontier Days, and few rodeos every day, but you should buy tickets as soon as possible, and a carnival. There's a nice place up in the mountains by Cheyenne to have dinner and listen to some fun country music, but it may be kinda hard to find.
