Hotels close to 1900 Grant Street? |
Travel Info I will be in town and have a meeting at 1900 Grant St., so I would like to stay close, but at the same time would like to stay somewhere that is close to interesting shops/restaurants/bars/attract... I think the 16th street mall is supposed to be a good spot, but I have no idea how far that is from 1900 Grant street, or whether the area is safe or dangerous (from a walking perspective). Any ideas? Travel Tips I work at 18th & Pearl, two blocks away from where you'll be, so I know the area well. The place you want to stay is the brand new Hampton Inn Suites Denver Downtown at 1845 Sherman Street, exactly one block from 1900 Grant. This hotel gets rave reviews on Trip Advisor (http://www.tripadvisor.com/hotel_review-... The neighborhood is just a few blocks from the core of downtown Denver and the 16th St. Mall. It's an office and commercial area, so it's quiet at night, but perfectly safe. To get to 16th St. Mall, walk a few blocks to Broadway, then over to 16th Street where the free Mall shuttle bus is - you can ride down to the LoDo area (Lower Downtown) where all the bars and restaurants and nightlife is. Larimer Square at 15th and Larimer is the hot spot, as well as along Market and Blake Streets. You'll find all types of restaurants up and down the Mall. Denver is a great place for business and pleasure, so I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself! Others There is the hotel Monaco which is a Kimpton hotel There is a Courtyard by Marriot on 16th st.
