Where's a good place to live near Denver?

Travel Info
I am planning on moving to Denver, Colorado and would like to live in a small town that has beautiful mountain views, but is not too far from the city where I will have to work. Any suggestions from someone who knows the area?

Travel Tips
I live in Castle Rock , great friendly town just off I-25 about 30 min. south of Denver...http://townofcastlerock.org
Good schools, plenty of shopping , churches, everything you need but still has a small town atmosphere. Examples, band concerts at the gazebo by the library, for the summer months free outside family movies by the fire house . County fair and parade..I could go on and on. Great view of pikes peak and the front range.Check us out

Salt Lake City. (it's nearer to Denver than a lot of places)
LOL - yeah, SLC would be a great commute (if you have a Lear jet!)

There are gorgeous places in the mountains from which people commute to work in Denver. Evergreen, Gennesse, Ken Caryl, Conifer, Bailey, Pine, Roxborough, Golden... all are within an hour's drive and are beautiful mountain towns. Real estate can be pricey, though. Lots of people I know wouldn't live anywhere else, though!
Golden! or Boulder -- stay away from Aurora
Castle Pines. It's a newer area, and has great views of the mountains. About 30 minutes away from Denver.
