Alpine sliding? |
Travel Info i am trying to look up alpine sliding...does anyone have a website on it? do they have it in colorado , boston or las vegas? Travel Tips Here's the website that tells you all about Alpine Slides in Colorado: http://www.coloradoskihistory.com/summer... There are five locations: Breckenridge Ski Area at the base of Peak 8 Winter Park Resort at the base of the Arrow Lift Heritage Square in Golden, Colorado Durango Mountain Resort at the base area Howelsen Hill in Steamboat Springs, Colorado The cost is between $6-$12 (Heritage Square is the cheapest) You need mountains to have alpine slide, so you won't find any in the cities of Boston or Las Vegas. My family has been to the slides in Breck and Winter Park and we love them - very long and scenic. Others http://www.coloradoskihistory.com/summer... I have only ever been on the one by Mt Rushmore in SDakota. I think it was like $15 a person. But can't be sure there are usually cupons in the areas travel books. There are at least three I know of in Colorado - Breckenridge, Steamboat Springs, and Purgatory all have one. There may be more. I've been on the one in Breckenridge - it's a real blast! There is an alpine slide at Hertiage Square in Golden. |
