What's the weather like? colorado?

i'm leavin on monday 2 go 2 estes park, colorado.
i'll be gone for 3 weeks and i have no clue what cloths 2 bring.
is it hot enough that i can bring my short shorts, and does it get cold enough that i have 2 bring a heavy jacket?

ok i used to live in CO and its warm!! but at night it can kinda get pretty chilly! also there is no humidity at all and the sun can be pretty brutal because your at higher elevation so make sure u have some water and sunscreen! but just take the best out of the weather and make sure rain or shine u enjoy the scenery cause no matter what its beautiful!!!!!! have a good trip!!! =]] Source(s): experience

This time of year Estes Park will have mild days in the 70s to 80s and cool evenings - a light jacket will do.
ok. i've been there.. it doesnt get too cold. u can wear short shorts but u dont need to bring a heavy jacket. just a light sweatshirt should be enough. i recommend you wear capris, sneakers, t-shirt, and a light sweatshirt. hope i helped!! have fun!

My husband and children and I just got back from staying two weeks in Estes Park. The weather is beautiful! It's around 70-80 everyday, but NO HUMIDITY!! (We're from Texas, so it was a wonderful change!)

Some evenings it got down to about 50- so you will need a jacket. Also, we went up Tunnel Ridge Road- about 12,000+ altitude and it started to snow-

Shorts should be good for around Estes, but if you plan on heading to higher elevation, you will want to bring long pants and a jacket.
