The coolest town in colorado?

I live in Italy and would like to visit Colorado next year. Can you tell me what city you like most? I love small old town on the mountains, near state parks, etc.
someone told me Ouray is nice, does anyone of you live there?

I think that Marble is the coolest town in Colorado. There isn't much there but the marble quarries. It's been decades since I've been there, but the streets were littered with blocks and scraps of marble. We would hike around the quarries. I don't know if anything is open or not any more, It is located on the back side of the Maroon Bells opposite Aspen if I remember correctly. Do you live anywhere near Carrera?

ouray is an awesome town to visit. if you go there, make sure you go when all the trails are opened. due to the high altitude of the area, the trails usually dont open till june. rent yourself a jeep and pick a trail and go. if i recall right, there are 375 miles of trails arround ouray. Plus, you can visit silverton and Telluride which are a short distance over the mountain from ouray. there is also an awesome hot spring there too. Going to ouray is a vacation you wont forget!

Ouray is very beautiful so that is a good choice. Rocky Mountain National Park is also a great place to visit. You could stay in Estes Park or cross over to the other side and stay in Grand Lake.

Colorado Springs is about an hour south of Denver.
Estes Park is about an hour - 2 hours north of Denver.
