1 morning / afternoon in Denver?

Travel Info
I am visiting a friend in Denver and will be wandering around the city tomorrow while she is at work. We are spending the rest of the weekend in Estes Park.
What should I do in Denver from 9am - 7pm? I'm 24 and I've been told to go to the Buckhorn Exchange and drink Fat Tire beer... beyond that, I've got no plans.

Travel Tips

The Denver Art Museum is downtown and amazing..and it is near the 16th st mall ( which is actually a large section of 16th st closed to traffic except pedestrians.) So you could go to the Art Museum, then walk around (or take the free trolley) on the 16th st mall. The Denver Mint is very close also and is a great tour. See websites below. Other Travel Tips

go to old town market, pier street mall, drive to the stadium. there is tons of stuff to do in denver. my sister lives in fort.collins
Shop on 16th street mall!
The Botanical Gardens are wonderful. Also the zoo and Museum of Natural History are nearby. I recommend them.
Walk around down town the 16th street mall area. Lots to see and great little shops!!
The Aquarium is nearby and I agree with the Denver Botanic Gardens idea. Go back downtown to Bayou Bob's for some good Cajun food and you've got your day.
