Flight Question? |
Travel Info I have a flight to Virginia on the 19th. My plane leaves at 6:05 AM and I plan to be to the airport by 4:15 AM. Will this be early enough? Thanks! Travel Tips Traffic should be no problem for you to DIA at that hour- and two hours before departure is the standard. Others yea at least two hours earlier than departure defintely for sure plus there is security checkpoints Depends on how secure you like to be... They recommend 2 hours early for any flight nowadays, but many people aren't more than an hour. you should be at the airport 1.5-2hrs and make sure you have your documents with you so that you wont have any problems when you get there. and 24hrs before your departure flight call your airline and check if there are some schedule changes made by the airline. it usually happen...-im a travel specialist...:) I'm not sure wot the rules & regulations r there, but here in New Zealand, the airport company that gave/sold u the tickets advise u 2 be no LESS than 1 hour b4 take-off. It also comes down 2 wot the traffic is like on-route 2 the airport. Previous experience. I also work as a dispatcher/check-in clerk @ a helipad. depends on the city and airport. But it should be generally fine. It should definately be enough, time for u to check in ur luggage, and maybe grab some coffee and be able to drink it before u board the plane. solidify your transportation to the airport (put gas in the car, put the bus ticket in an easy to remember spot, call taxi in advance etc..) |
