I will be visiting Denver Next week from "H town" (Houston) I've noticed it's hotter there than here right now |
Travel Info I know it's less humid so my main question is : AM I going to be sweating my butt off even in cotton shorts & tops or not? LOL. Travel Tips It's much nice than Houston.Much drier,and you're right,it cools down considerably at night. Others Yep I live in Denver and it is so hot. Be prepared for the heat. yes...i live in colorado right now and it is 102 degrees right now...i dont even want to leave the house!!!! stay inside If you're from Houston you should be used to the heat by now.The current heatwave we are experiencing will probably be gone by the time you get here. Don't forget Denver is technically a desert and is liable to suffer periods of extreme heat(and cold).Out in the country where I live,once the sun goes down the temp drops considerably.Thank God we don't have the humidity like you guys do! I was in Denver last week and even though it was hot, the humidity is much lower and much more tolerable than Houston. Yes, it's been hotter than "H" here lately. Thanks to the lack of humidity, it will cool into the upper 60's at night but during the day, you're going to sweat your butt off. |
