Moving to Denver..best area to buy a house and raise children.?

Travel Tips
Highland's Ranch is ok for suburbia. Other parts of Littleton or Englewood have a little more character. As for actual metro-Denver neighborhoods, which obviously cost more, Crestmoor/Hilltop is a coveted area (with a hefty price tag). Congress Park is very nice, as are certain parts of Park Hill. Other suburbs that seem nice for family- Arvada, Westminster, Broomfield, Lafayette.

Highland's Ranch....So MANY people have told me (it's actually part of Littleton).
i live in broomfield and it is great...i am 15 and love colorado...there are tons of great schools nearby and the overall vibe is very friendly...we are about 30 minutes from denver, so you can take your kids there!!! there is elitch gardens, the childrens museum and the aquarium that are really good for kids!!!! and of course you can see the mountains
Castle Rock.30 min south of Denver. Voted by Family Circle Magazine one of the 10 best towns in the US to raise a family. http://www.townofcastlerock.org...
We have lived here 16 years raised 2 kids and love it here
Check into the area of Broomfield. It is an up and coming city in between Denver and Boulder and very convenient.
Cherry Creek School District is one of the top 15 in the US. Move into the district - DPS is aweful. Some Cherry Creek areas are - greenwood village, cherry hills, southwest denver.
hope this helps.
Without knowing how much money, this is hard.

Cherry Creek or Greenwood Village. If you have a seven figure budget, they're the "best".

Highlands Ranch. If living in classic over the top suburbia is OK, this has an enormous choice of housing alternatives.

Castle Rock. A long way out, but still a nice atmosphere, with an older town center. Also a lot of housing choices.

LoDo. If you want to be in the heart of the city. Maybe a loft? Pricy.

Stapleton. The old airport site, close to town. A "New Urbanism" place, shiny new and designed for living, a little pricy.

If you're going to be working out here, living close to work is very important, because of traffic.

Obviously a real estate agent could help you a lot more.
